Denise Hall, CDA, RDA Hi! I’m Denise, Dr. Van Tasell and Dr. Gleason’s practice manager. I grew up on a farm outside of Sigourney, graduated from Sigourney High School in 1980, and Kirkwood Community College in 1982, passed my boards, and became a Certified Dental Assistant. I worked for several years in another dental office, and began working for Dr. Van Tasell and Dr. Gleason in 1985 as a chairside as I live in Linby, a small town in the Pekin School District, about 15 miles northwest of Fairfield, with my husband Brad. We have three children, Jordan, a UNI graduate now working in Cedar Rapids (and soon to be married!), Whitney, also a UNI graduate working in Ames and is a freelance Graphic Designer on the side, and Cory, a freshman at UNI. We also have four Brazilian kids we call ours, Ana, Fabio, Ricardo, and Lucas, having hosted them as exchange students. We hope to visit Brazil someday. We enjoy spending time with family and friends at the lake, camping and boating. I am a Packwood First Responder and a member of the Prairie View United Methodist Church. sistant. In 1989, I became the office manager for Fairfield Dental Clinic. I really like what I do and enjoy the opportunity to work with our dental team. I am the Trustee for the Southeast Iowa District of the Iowa Dental Assistants Association, and am currently working to obtain my Fellowship in the American Dental Assistants Association.
